More than 9,000 visitors expected!
For the first time, the Employment Forum will take place at the Palais des Expositions. Over 200 companies will welcome job seekers over a 4,000 square meter area. In 2008, the fair had registered 3,000 job offers, resulted in more than 14,000 professional interviews, and 500 contracts had been signed directly.
Eight thematic villages and a dedicated space for business creators and acquirers
Within eight areas, visitors will be able to learn about the following topics: construction/public works, retail/distribution, personal services, hospitality/catering, transportation, defense/security, business services, and temporary employment. Roundtable discussions and workshops are also organized to provide all the information about the hiring sectors or the integration, training, and employment support processes. At the stands, personalized advice on writing a CV or cover letter will be given to job seekers. A Handy Job space will also be opened to assist disabled individuals in their procedures.
The Forum, a stage of the “Quartiers libres pour l’emploi” Tour de France
This year, the Employment Forum is a stage of the “Quartiers libres pour l’emploi” Tour de France. Claude Bébéar, the initiator of the Diversity Charter, will be present alongside other personalities, to raise awareness in the economic world about employing residents from neighborhoods. Claude Bébéar started this Tour de France with Fadela Amara on October 22, 2008.
Thursday, February 12, is a unique opportunity for visitors to meet directly with employment stakeholders and recruiters.
