The first edition of the Employment Forum held in February 2006 was such a success – with over 7,000 visitors, 12,000 job interviews and importantly, the conclusion of 450 hires – that this second edition has been granted additional resources to better meet visitor expectations.
This year, the 200 companies and public institutions present, along with all our partners – Assedic Côte d’Azur, ANPE Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur, Departmental Directorate for Work, Employment, and Professional Training, the regional council of PACA and the general council of Alpes-Maritimes – will be spread over 2 floors of the palace (4,000 m²) to allow for better reception and to guarantee real confidentiality of job interviews.
The forum will also start earlier to facilitate attendance by the largest number: the doors are scheduled to open at 9 am.
Goals of the 2nd Employment Forum
- Generate opportunities for meetings between recruiters and capable, motivated job seekers,
- Help raise awareness about high-demand sectors with significant hiring potential and the professions associated with them through a series of workshops,
- Inform business leaders and job seekers about the latest employment measures,
- Mobilize all actors in economic development and employment for a large-scale event.
