The City of Nice, President of the EUROMED Cities Network, will host the next plenary session of the Network on February 9 and 10, 2012, at Villa Masséna.
For a long time, the City of Nice has been oriented towards Mediterranean countries. Christian Estrosi, President of the EUROMED Cities Network, aims to encourage the exchange of experiences in sustainable development through North-South bilateral cooperations that promote a shared heritage of knowledge.
This third plenary session aims to foster dialogue and the development of projects supporting partnerships and exchanges of expertise in the Mediterranean area through concrete policies of decentralized cooperation.
On February 9 and 10, 2012, round tables will be held, bringing together members and partners of the Network around the following themes:
Euro-Mediterranean partnerships facing the challenges of sustainable development in terms of waste, water, transport, and urban planning
Euro-Mediterranean financial partnership options,
The decentralization process serving the development of partnerships,
Towards a Union of cities in the Mediterranean.
