The City of Nice is organizing, from May 2 to 4, in collaboration with humanitarian associations (Handicap International, Artisans du Monde, Les enfants de Sion, UNICEF Alpes Maritimes, ADE Les Amis des Enfants, AMADEA Madagascar, Partage Alpes Maritimes, ADAJ Les Amis d’Albert Junior, Sens Afrique Solidaire), three days of raising awareness among school children and the general public about solidarity.
The objective is to show that each of us can, individually or collectively, work for the welfare of humanity, in areas as diverse as childhood, sustainable development, disability, fair trade…
Through conferences/debates, meetings, school activities and performances, the actions carried out by the associative community at the local level will be highlighted.
PROGRAM
Friday, May 3 (School children and the general public):
*Stories narrated by a storyteller*
at the Maison des Associations Garibaldi Amphitheater Vira Souleù– 12 ter place Garibaldi from 9am to 9:45am•10am to 10:45am•2pm to 2:45pm•3pm to 3:45pm
Stories interspersed with songs where children will be invited to repeat the refrains. They will also need to find the moral of the story (which will revolve around solidarity, respecting one’s word, etc.) and give their opinion on the role of the characters.
The storyteller has training as a primary school teacher and teacher at the National Teacher Training School in Cameroon.

Complex themes of disability in developing countries and international solidarity by offering students testimonies and situations. Participants will discover the stories of three disabled children living in Cambodia, Nepal, and Rwanda and will face the HandiCap or no Cap challenges that these children will pose to them.
