Nice is hosting its 12th International Figure Skating Championship.

This major event is the only competition in the world organized by an association to be included in the official calendar of the International Skating Union; a competition during which the most promising hopefuls of world skating compete sportingly to win the prestigious Trophée Baie des Anges.

The International Cup is: 140 participants, about twenty high-level teams representing most of the major skating nations (France, Russia, Poland, Ukraine, Germany, China, Mexico, Austria, Belgium, Spain, Estonia, Finland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Switzerland, Monaco, etc.), individual and pairs events, the presence of ice hopefuls as well as confirmed champions.

Thursday, October 18th:

07:00 AM: training for “novice” and “senior” categories
10:30 AM: opening ceremony
12:00 PM: ladies’ short program “novice” category
02:00 PM: men’s short program “novice” category
07:00 PM: ladies’ short program “senior” category
08:30 PM: men’s short program “senior” category

Friday, October 19th:

07:00 AM: training for “novice”, “junior”, “pairs” categories
11:00 AM: ladies’ free program “novice” category
02:00 PM: men’s free program “novice” category
04:30 PM: ladies’ short program “junior” category
06:30 PM: men’s short program “junior” category
08:30 PM: pairs program

Saturday, October 20th:

07:00 AM: training for “seniors”, “junior” and pairs categories
02:30 PM: ladies’ free program “senior” category
05:00 PM: men’s free program “senior” category
07:30 PM: pairs free program

Sunday, October 21st:

07:00 AM: junior categories training
10:00 AM: ladies’ free program “junior” category
12:00 PM: men’s free program “junior” category

05:00 PM: Closing Gala – For more than two hours, the best individual skaters and pairs of the competition will deliver an elegant and breathtaking show to the Nice audience.

Albena Denkova and Maxim Staviski, two-time World Champions in ice dancing

Prices:

  • From Thursday 18th to Sunday at noon: 10 euros
  • Sunday 21st Gala: 25 euros
