Nice Premium: So Laurent, how is the organization of this new Nice white party going?
Laurent Merengone: Very well! Year after year (4 years already!) we are getting better so that the organization of this now unmissable event in Nice is as perfect as possible!
NP: An initial White Party was scheduled for early July, why was it canceled?
LM: Yes, we had planned two white parties in July and August. Unfortunately, due to the severe damage suffered by the Beau Rivage beach in May following the big storm, the reconstruction work on the restaurant and the lead times for ordering a new kitchen prevented us from opening the beach fully in July. But now everything is operational. A brand new and ultra-trendy restaurant!
NP: What will be the new features compared to previous editions?
LM: A long catwalk will cross the beach so everyone can admire the creations of Italian designer Lara Quarto. There will also be a swimsuit fashion show. As for the entertainment, this year we’re going all out: live singers and saxophone, live body painting, fire juggler stilt walkers, go-go boys, and go-go girls, and other incredible surprises that you will discover by attending this party!
NP: How many people are expected?
LM: around 2000 people….
NP: Can you name some of the personalities present?
LM: Yes, we will have the pleasure of a live duet with Nicolas Gemmi and Nice singer Priscilla before the clubbing night begins, followed by 4 DJs, including two international ones, the former German top model Hanna Hansen, and also for the first time on the French Riviera, the famous Russian DJ DJ Stylezz who plays at Soho Rooms, one of Moscow’s most prestigious clubs.
NP: Finally, what would you say to the night owls of the Côte d’Azur to convince them to be there on Saturday?
LM: The Beau Rivage White Party has become the indisputable meeting point for night owls from Monaco to Saint Tropez every year… missing it would be a sacrilege for any self-respecting clubber. Especially since a night with international DJs until 2:30 a.m. on a beach in the Baie des Anges is a rare pleasure not to be missed!
