We begin with Asaf Avidan and the Mojos. They are from Jerusalem in Israel, and this group of friends is on the French Riviera to introduce you to their very folk/rock music.
Next, it will be Kris Kristofferson’s turn on the Arènes stage. The famous American is not only an actor but also a remarkable singer.
At 8:10 PM on the main stage in the garden, you should not miss the beautiful Hindi Zahra, the singer from the Moroccan desert.
Then, enjoy what is known as Django 100. It’s an impressive gathering of guitarists wanting to pay tribute to the jazz legend Django Reinhardt. This year marks the centenary of his birth.
Rodrigo y Gabriela, or “Rod y Gab,” will then perform on the main stage. These two Mexican guitarists cover both Jimi Hendrix and Metallica. One thing is for sure, they will amaze you!
We will end the evening with Chris Potter, a multi-instrumentalist jazzman as he plays the flute, saxophone, and clarinet.
