Latest News

From August 20 to 23, the 2024 edition of the Nice Jazz Festival will take place. With a slight change in the lineup that is sure to delight jazz music enthusiasts.

Announced in the lineup of the Nice Jazz Festival, Yannis & The Yaw will ultimately not perform on stage this year. In the studio preparing a new sound inspired by the late Tony Allen, the band is being replaced by a duo. Wasia Project is a family affair between brother William G. Hardy and sister Olivia Hardy. They will take the stage at the Nice Jazz Fest on Tuesday, August 20 at 8 PM on the Massรฉna stage, opening an exceptional evening that will also feature Dabeull and Nas.

Wasia Project is a mixed British-Asian heritage. Their musical upbringing has inspired their global approach to pop, fusing styles and influences that transcend genre boundaries. In 2024, they are embarking on a sold-out tour in the UK, followed by opening the European tour for the unmissable Tom Odell, and then the American tour of the Icelandic jazz sensation Laufey. The duo recently released a single titled Is This What Love Is?, from an EP to be released later this year.

An enchanting duo that will open the doors to their universe, blending jazz, classical, and pop for the audience of the Nice Jazz Festival.ย ย
