As part of a week of cultural events, the city of Nice is celebrating Africa, and particularly Burkina Faso, from this Tuesday until Saturday.
This event will be inaugurated in the presence of Alpha Barry, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Burkina Faso.
In various venues (Garibaldi Association House, Animanice Costanzo center, cinematheque, Mediterranean University Center, Student House, municipal libraries…) but also on the Promenade du Paillon and at the City Theatre, the public will be able to discover or rediscover the culture, lifestyle, dynamism, and creativity of the populations of African countries.
Conferences, readings, film screenings, concerts, artisanal creations, projects in support of environmental protection, exhibitions, fashion shows… so many opportunities to travel across the African continent.
Among the highlights of this week is the “Nice Celebrates Africa” day, which will take place on Saturday, May 26th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the Promenade du Paillon (free entry).
