The identitarian candidate, as usual, doesn’t hold back, but this time, it’s against those with whom he had hoped to form an alliance for the municipal elections a few weeks ago.
Philippe Vardon explains: “The lead candidate of the FN-RBM in Le Mans comes from the Identitarian Bloc. In line with the position she has always expressed (possible inclusion of individuals from the identitarian movement into the FN and on FN lists, but no party-to-party agreements), Marine Le Pen considered his candidacy entirely normal, just as others come from the PS, UMP, or PCF.”
He then draws his conclusions: “These statements shed new light locally on the remarks by Ms. Arnautu or Mr. Nofri, who recently stated in Direct Matin that the identitarians were ‘racialists’, adding ‘the extreme right is them’. The reality is that it was indeed due to unpleasant competitive considerations that Mr. Nofri (who is the true architect of the Arnautu list) closed the door to any agreement and openness, whether with Jacques Peyrat, the ‘historical’ frontists, Mr. Ripoll, or myself, and only placed his friends.”
You can belong to the same political movement, but sometimes it is difficult to climb back up the stream…
