Nice: Nice Carnaval Days Boost Local Business

Latest News

On the occasion of the Nice Carnaval Days, the City of Nice is launching the 6th edition of its grand clearance sale on February 19, 20, and 21, 2026. Three days during which merchants take over public spaces to offer products at preferential rates and highlight the importance of local commerce.

The grand clearance sale will extend throughout the Nice territory from February 19 to 21, 2026. The neighborhoods of Notre-Dame, Masséna, Liberté, Longchamps, Malausséna, Jean Médecin, and Hôtel des Postes become true open-air shopping areas.
For the event, the city hall graciously offers the use of public spaces to allow merchants to display their products in front of their stores. Whether it’s clothing, accessories, handcrafted items, decoration, or local specialties: vendors set up their stalls on the sidewalks and encourage wandering. This sixth edition, occurring in the heart of the carnival period, is part of a festive and attractive dynamic. Between each animation, residents and visitors will have the opportunity to benefit from special offers while re-exploring the diversity of the local economic fabric.
More than just a simple promotion, the event conveys a strong message: favor local shops over online sales platforms. A tangible way to contribute to the local economy, maintain the social fabric, and enliven the neighborhoods.

Consuming local, a committed act

For a period of three days, making a purchase transforms into a civic act. By stepping into the shops of Nice, buyers contribute directly to the economic dynamics of their city.
The Nice Carnaval Days are not limited to being a flea market: they represent a privileged moment of interaction between merchants and their customers, in a festive and friendly atmosphere that distinguishes Nice.
