This Sunday, the 9th, the International Half Marathon of Nice will celebrate its 26th edition on a single day as part of the Nice Running Day, featuring 5 race formats (from the 3 km Haribo Teens Run to the 21.1 km Hoka One One).
A competition that could bring surprises!
This year, all eyes will be on Kenyan MITEI Donald, wearing bib number 3, with a personal record of 61’21’’. For his first race outside of Kenya, his youth and energy should allow him to hopefully set a new record on French soil.
The battle for the podium is also expected to be contested by his compatriots SANG Ezrah and BOR Emmanuel, who respectively finished the Venlo Half Marathon in 2015 and the Granollers Half Marathon in 2016 in 60’36’’ and 61’04’’.
For the record, the fastest times in the International Half Marathon of Nice have been held since 2012 by Bernard KOECH in 59’57’’ and since 2001 by Edith MASAÏ in 1h07’53’’.
