Nice Sports & Games: the unique arcade and karaoke room in Nice

Latest News

Unique on the Cรดte d’Azur, Nice Sports & Games has opened its doors just a stone’s throw from Thiers station. Spanning two floors, the venue offers an unprecedented concept in freeplay mode, where you can play as much as you like for a single price. With its private karaoke and local partnerships, Allan Delaunay’s establishment aims to become a reference in Nice’s leisure scene.

Until now, there was no arcade open to the public in Nice. This has now changed with Nice Sports & Games, a unique venue that combines video games, darts, pool, foosball, and even karaoke. Its manager, Allan Delaunay, 32 years old, conceived this project for his son, but also to fill a void: “I realized that there were very few activities for young people, but also for children wanting to celebrate their birthday.”

The concept is based on an almost unique freeplay mode in France, with only two venues operating this way, in Nice and Lille. “This avoids the frustration of not being able to play all the games, and especially of having to pay each time,” explains Allan Delaunay. For 15 euros, visitors have access to all games, on both floors of the venue for one hour. With a decreasing rate the more time is spent, visitors will have time to try everything. Only the private karaoke, by reservation, is separate and costs 9 euros per person for one hour. The large and comfortable room can accommodate up to 20 people.

Two floors, two atmospheres

Designed to appeal to everyone, the venue offers two distinct worlds. “Downstairs, there are arcade games where children and teenagers have fun. And upstairs, a more adult world with classic bar games, darts, pool, foosball… and even a retro and modern arcade machine with over 1,000 available games.”

This diversity makes Nice Sports & Games a family place during the day and more festive at night: “During the day we welcome families, but at night, it’s more young adults, students.”

A firm local grounding

Proud of its integration into Nice’s economic fabric, Allan Delaunay has focused on 100% local collaborations. Our ice creams and even the kombucha are made in Vallauris. We have a free partnership with a local association in the city that allows them to sell their t-shirts in the establishment. And an artist from Saint-Laurent-du-Var created a Pikachu for us to decorate the room upstairs.”

With an investment of 160,000 euros, Nice Sports & Games is strategically located, a short walk from the station, accessible in minutes by public transport. After four months of opening, the objective is clear. “As everyone knows the CAP3000 and has already been there, the goal is for everyone to know Nice Sports & Games and have had a good time there.
