This Wednesday, March 20, on the occasion of the International Francophonie Day, the City of Nice will inaugurate its countdown to the 7th Jeux de la Francophonie. The structure installed at Place Massรฉna will count down the remaining days until the first events of the Jeux de la Francophonie on September 6, 2013.
The launch of the countdown will take place in the presence of Christian Estrosi, President of the National Committee of the Jeux de la Francophonie.
The countdown to the Games will officially start at 6 PM. At the same time, a giant flashmob will gather the people of Nice for a few minutes of choreography, followed by a grand Jazz concert at 6:30 PM, orchestrated by the Philippe Villa Trio, reminding us that in a few months the Nice Jazz Festival will take place at this very location.
So, everyone to Place Massรฉna from 6 PM to start the countdown at D-169!
