The students of Risso School have been rewarded for their commitment throughout the year in the fight against school bullying.
Between 800,000 and 1 million children in France have experienced or are currently experiencing bullying, which represents 6 to 10% of students. Aware of this serious issue, the City of Nice has been collaborating for many years with the Nice Academy to make the fight against school bullying a major national cause. Indeed, throughout the year, prevention actions are offered within schools to raise awareness among students and guide them towards kind behaviors.
This project, carried out at Risso School, promotes civic learning and is enhanced by the practice of artistic activities. Students learn not only to be good citizens but also to express themselves and develop their creativity through activities. The fifth-grade students at Risso School had the chance, as part of the 100% Culture initiative, to collaborate with the Nice artist “Le Môme” in a clip combining dance, rap, and slam.
For their commitment to the fight against bullying, the students of Risso School have been rewarded. Each received a diploma and a surprise bag, highlighting the importance of their contribution to the fight against school bullying and encouraging their continuation on this path.
