Obispo, Cabrel, Garou… many are present at the event. Between each performance, an artist comes to sing with the audience. Others explain the work of the volunteers and the importance of donations. The musical novelty of the show: the single “si l’on s’aimait, si,” a French cover of a Kiss song. Stunning and then catchy, this tune is likely to be on all the radios in the coming months.
Experiencing a Moment of Pleasure
The audience in Nice is also in attendance. Even Mimie Mathy says: “Nice is so great.” This great artist is at the heart of the show. Sometimes dressed as a woman from Nice and then as Miss France, she engages the audience with unprecedented enthusiasm. As for the newcomer of the evening, it’s Grégoire. This young artist, who won over the French public with his song “toi + moi,” is participating in the Enfoirés concerts for the first time. With genuine camaraderie, the Restos veterans make him wear a very becoming carrot costume.
Friendship, humor—it seems this is what the entire troupe is sharing on stage this Friday. And the audience can see it clearly! Smiles of complicity, shared laughter, that’s what stands out at first glance.
Doing a Good Deed
As every year, the concert will be broadcast in full by TF1, only a few weeks after the recording during the last three concerts in Nice on Sunday and Monday. The broadcast is scheduled for the upcoming Saturday, March 5th, ensuring once again a record audience for the channel… Of course, the double CD and double DVD will go on sale the next day with all proceeds donated to the association. For indeed, we must not forget that despite the media phenomenon, the Enfoirés represent one-third of the funding for the Restos du Cœur.
“Today we no longer have the right, neither to be hungry nor to be cold,” words we all know by heart thanks to a man who changed everything. For the 23rd consecutive year, the Enfoirés hurry to make a difference in the spirit of Coluche.
And for the 23rd consecutive year, it seems to be a real success.
