Under the leadership of its young and dynamic president Patrick Nolier, the association Nice Shopping is beginning to take its first steps, barely two months after its formation.
As a reminder, the purpose of this association – city centre shops and peripheral shops, local businesses and major brands, institutional actors – is the promotion of shops in Nice.
Some initial examples are already operational, such as a delivery service (available on the website niceshopping.fr), which allows people to shop in peace and have their purchases delivered to their home or hotel at preferential rates negotiated by Nice Shopping.
Furthermore, a citywide parking offer is being finalized. It will be based on a simple principle: the more you buy from Nice’s merchants, the more your parking will be covered.
Still in the realm of transport, a partnership with Lignes D’Azur is being considered to encourage the use of public transport for shopping.
Other benefits will be offered by partners (cinema, dining, etc.). Finally, merchants will have complete freedom to reserve exclusive offers for Nice Shopping’s clients and to highlight commercial events and activities they organize.
For this spring that is slow to arrive, Nice Shopping is launching its first public event, the Grand Jeu Nice Shopping Game.
This game will take place from April 7th to 14th across all districts of Nice to boost the purchasing power of clients, to be spent immediately with merchants.
The concept is simple: during the 8 days of the Grand Jeu Nice Shopping Game, participants will have to find Mister Shopping.
As soon as they find him, they can trigger a lottery and try to win โฌ200 for shopping, to be spent within half an hour at the surrounding merchants of their choice.
As such, if the customer doesn’t come to you, you have to go and find them and encourage them to purchase.
The formula is as old as time but it still works. Isn’t it said that one should always return to the basics?
