Latest News

After two consecutive cancellations in 2015 and 2016, the Nice triathlon brought together more than a thousand triathletes for the Open race. The last event of the season counting for the French championship saw the main favorites win in the Elite category.

750m of swimming, 20km of cycling, and 5km of running was the program awaiting the triathletes at the start of this new edition of the Nice triathlon.

The women kicked off the event at 1:30 PM. A competitive race saw the British athlete Georgia Taylor-Brown (23 years old) take victory in under an hour (59’45”). This was her 8th career victory. A double European champion in the junior category, the triathlete joined the Stade Poitevin team just a few months ago. She led two triathletes from Poissy Triathlon, Andrea Hewitt and Sandra Dodet.
