Nice is joining the “Earth Hour, 60 minutes for the planet” campaign launched by WWF to mobilize as many people as possible around the issue of climate change.
To go further and emphasize its commitment to Sustainable Development, the city of Nice has decided to mobilize throughout the weekend.
Therefore, the lights of the Promenade des Anglais will be turned off from Friday, March 25 at 7 PM to Monday, March 28 at 6:30 AM (partially, meaning 2 out of 3 globes, as a total blackout is not possible for safety reasons).
All decorative lights โ axial gardens of the Promenade des Anglais, the Castle Hill and Bellanda Tower, gardens and fountains of Massรฉna Square, Albert 1st Garden, and the Acropolis โ will be turned off from Friday at 8 PM to Monday morning at 8 AM.
