Led by an outstanding Jelle Ribbens, the Azuréens dominated almost the entire match. This third set, perhaps mishandled due to overconfidence or temporary fatigue, was lost 25-21, but it does not change the impression left by these Niçois, who were largely superior to their Nantes opponents.
The next meeting is in Corsica, in Ajaccio, next Sunday, for a decisive match in the play-off race. The Niçois, in sixth place, are ahead of the Ajacciens, waiting two points behind.
