Recent Movements of NVB during this Summer Break.
This June has been quite eventful for Nice Volley Ball. In addition to the arrival in May of Javier Gonzalez, François Rebeyrol, Kyle Dagostino, and another recruit from Hérault, Célestin Cardin joined the French Riviera.
A fifth and final recruit was officially announced on Friday, June 24th. It’s a Brazilian player, Wilian Doardo, who has committed to Nice Volley Ball.
Aged 25, the new receiver/attacker, standing at 1.96 meters, comes from the Turkish club Solhan Spor Kulübü. Despite his young age, NVB is already the seventh club in his career, his second French club after Saint-Nazaire (2020-2021).
The management of Nice Volley Ball didn’t just focus on new arrivals. Indeed, several key players of the squad have also extended their journey with the Riviera club. The young middle blocker Wilaim Nack-minyem is about to start his second year in Nice. The team captain, Canadian Steven Marshall, also continues the Riviera adventure through to the next season.
