For the 26th day of the men’s volleyball championship, Nice Volleyball traveled this Saturday to Occitania to face the Spacer’s de Toulouse. A match that ended in a defeat for the team from Nice.
A complicated start to the match for the Nice team, who were quickly overtaken by Toulouse (17-7). Despite the good intentions of NVB, Toulouse’s 10-point lead left no chance for our Nice team. An advantage maintained by the Spacer’s de Toulouse, who won the first set (25-16).
In the second set, Nice needs to wake up to stay in the game. They didn’t allow themselves to be outdistanced in the second part and regained strength. This second set ended with an advantage for Nice Volleyball (20-25). Adding excitement to the match’s progression, Nice equalized with Toulouse, with each team having won one set.
The Nice team in difficulty
In this third set, Toulouse struggled to get back into the game, allowing Nice to take the lead. However, Toulouse managed to catch up in points and took over, leading against the Eagles. This third set ended (25-17) in favor of the Toulouse team, who led two sets to one.
