The first day of the season starts off strong for the team from Nice. The Nice Volleyball Club, BM league champion 2016, plays at home against the Paris Volleyball Club. An exceptional evening awaits as the Parisians are the current French AM League champions for 2016.
This will be an opportunity for Mladen Kasic’s players to taste the LAM again after 4 years spent in the B League and three consecutive finals.
After a tumultuous start to their preparation, the team from Nice is motivated to perform well in the LAM. Consequently, the promoted NVB has significantly reorganized its team by adding a good amount of experience and a bit more professionalism to the mix.
This year, the club has largely reorganized its pro team, with the arrival of new players:
1 middle blocker: Philippe TUITOGA,
2 spikers: Milos TERZIC, Ivan KOLEV,
2 setters: Fran NOVOTNI-KASIC, Rusmir HALILOVIC,
1 opposite hitter: Hermans EGLESKALNS.
