As it has for the last 17 years, Nice will host the Europétanque. A key event of the summer on the French Riviera, it will take place from July 21 to 23.


The Europétanque of the Alpes-Maritimes is considered one of the two major pétanque events in France.

This 17th edition, supported by the Department as a major partner, will gather, from July 21 to 23, at the Henri Bernard and Gé Gallarato boulodromes, the best triplet teams in the world in a competition followed by thousands of spectators and viewers.

Several tournaments will be highlighted during the three days of competition. A main tournament, a secondary tournament (Malatesta), a women’s tournament, a youth tournament, precision shooting, and also the “Pétanque Seniors 06” tournament.

The competition, open to all, professionals and amateurs alike, will also feature a qualifying shooting tournament, which will take place from March 16 to June 15.

The 8 players with the best results in the finals, which will take place on Saturday, June 29 at the DUC grounds, will qualify for the final phase of the Europétanque.
