This regional initiative will be responsible for improving the care of victims regardless of the origin of the trauma. It will allow numerous individuals, whether victims or close relatives, to benefit from the expertise of a multidisciplinary team in terms of therapeutic, social, and legal support, and for professionals, to be trained in innovative handling methods in the field of psychological trauma.
The Regional Center for Coordination and Training in Psychological Trauma will promote the strengthening of the network of existing actors through the coordination of Medical-Psychological Emergency Units and the experimentation of new care pathways in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and Corsica.
Entrusted to the Nice University Hospital (CHU de Nice), this project brings together the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis, the City of Nice and its CCAS, the Lenval Foundation, the Public Assistance – Marseille Hospitals, the University Côte d’Azur, and the Montfavet Avignon Hospital Center.
