Let’s go, let’s send it! Hot in front. We now know the program for the new Niçoise cooking classes offered in the application kitchen of Greta Tourisme-Hôtellerie of Nice, located on the hill of Parc Impérial. A great gift idea for the holiday season!
And, for the first sessions in January – The first class will take place on Wednesday, January 14, 2015, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. – there will be three recipes on the menu: The iconic “Pissaladière,” the no less famous “Capouns,” and a fitting dessert with the traditional “Galette des Rois.”
Three recipes that will be featured in these first classes given by Franck Bermond, whose reputation as a Niçoise cuisine specialist is well established: A former student of the Lycée Hôtelier of Nice (Rue de France), a member of the disciples of Auguste Escoffier, President of the Cercle de la Capelina d’Or, and a member of the technical committee of the Label Cuisine Nissarde. He is also one of the cooking instructors at Greta of Nice.
The classes will take place on Wednesdays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and on Mondays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will last for 3 hours. All materials will be provided on site, and parking will be available. But, the most interesting part for food enthusiasts is that they will leave with a menu for two people made with the recipes created. An excellent and delicious idea at a reasonable price: €70.
So, with the holiday season approaching, why not give yourself (or others) one (or more) Niçoise cooking classes?
