Ninho, one of the most influential French rappers, performed in concert this Thursday evening at the Nikaia Palace in front of 7,756 people. While rappers do not usually stop by the Côte d’Azur, Ninho organized his third concert in Nice in as many years yesterday evening. It is now a regular stop on his tour every year.
More than 2.6 million albums sold since the beginning of his career, over 300 certifications including 160 gold singles, 90 platinum singles, and 50 diamond singles. “Ni” continues to break records. He recently achieved a brand-new feat. Last week, the rapper from Essone accomplished the unthinkable by filling the Stade de France in 7 hours for the first time, and then 2 days later in 2 hours. This feat has never been accomplished by a French rapper before. For comparison, the rapper Booba announced only one date for the Stade de France and filled it in just over 6 months.

Three hours before the concert began, the crowd had already gathered in front of the Palais Nikaia. Everyone was hoping to get the best spot, in the front row, to be as close as possible to their favorite artist.
In the opening act, DJ Triple got the crowd going in the venue before “El Jefe,” as he calls himself, took the stage. The rapper had prepared a varied setlist to please everyone. A mix of “classics” from his previous albums and some tracks from his latest release, “NI,” available since last June.
Yaro joined Ninho on stage to perform two of their collaborations, “Mecs de cité” and “Les étoiles.” The rapper Kaneki then joined the lineup, performing “Blue” in a feature with Ninho and Naps.
Ninho launched his 2024 tour eight days ago. The rapper will be performing all over France, with a short detour to Switzerland. He has 22 concerts and 12 festivals lined up this year.
