Tuesday, March 1st at 6:30 PM, in front of the
Tunisian consulate at 18 avenue des Fleurs (perpendicular to the boulevards
Gambetta and Grosso).
Excerpt:
“ยซ You had your revolution, so stay at home!ยป, that’s the message Nissa Rebela intends to convey to the Tunisians by protesting on Tuesday in front of the Tunisian consulate. This comes as boats continue to flow to the Italian island of Lampedusa, and the courts have already released the first arrested Tunisian undocumented immigrants in the department (with great publicity) back into the wild.
Immigration to Europe must cease to be the horizon for the young people of
the African continent, just as we cannot accept that
Africanization is seen by some as the future of Europe.
Because here it’s Nice and not Tunis; because our city, France, and
Europe are already overflowing with an unassimilable immigration; and
because a new massive and uncontrolled influx of immigrants from
the Maghreb and Africa would likely cause major social and security disturbances: join us in stating that it is high time for Europeans (at their home!) and Africans (at their home!) to take charge of their own destinies.”
