Students from Nissart, both in their sophomore year and adults, will set out this morning to discover Old Nice in the Niçard language. Follow the guide!
This Monday, November 17, at 8 am, in the Garibaldi Square no. 7 (in front of the Chapel of the Blue Penitents), the sophomore students from Sasserno High School will be accompanied by adult students to discover “in situ” what they have studied.
Cristòu Daurore, a Nissart (Occitan) teacher, will guide them through the Old Nice (Nissa vielha) to discover its wealth through its history, anecdotes, and most importantly, its Niçard language.
Even if the sun doesn’t seem to be on the agenda, there is no doubt that each and every one of them will leave with the History and the stories of the city’s most emblematic district.
