According to the figures released by the Ministry of Labor this Wednesday, the number of category A job seekers (unemployed) stood at 3,552,200 people in metropolitan France at the end of May 2015.
In one month, unemployment increased by +0.5% (16,200 more job seekers). Over one year, it rose by 5%.
In the Paca region, the increase in the number of job seekers rose by 0.7% between April and May. Over one year, the increase reached +6%.
Regarding the Alpes-Maritimes, the increase is 0.3%.
