The Faculty of Arts has announced to its students the closure of the Occitan Language degree, which until now allowed for the training of teachers of Niçois for primary, middle, or high school.
This information is all the more dramatic as the demand for teachers is increasing.
If there is no more training, it will be difficult to meet this demand, and it will be the parents, children, and teenagers who hoped to study Niçois who will be the victims of this closure.
