No prefectural authorization for the white march that was to be held this Sunday in Nice in memory of those who disappeared on July 14th.
In view of the very high mobilization of law enforcement and emergency services and the threat, the prefecture of Alpes-Maritimes has decided not to authorize the white march that was to take place on Sunday, July 31 on the Promenade des Anglais.
The organizers of the event, who had regularly submitted a declaration, have been informed.
The Prefecture made this decision in consultation with the Mayor of Nice and requests that the people of Nice do not participate in this march.
