Following the deliberation by the United States Supreme Court, which revoked the ruling that enshrined the right to abortion in the American Constitution, the women’s collective 06 is calling for a gathering this Thursday at 7 p.m. at Quais des Etats-Unis, symbolically in front of the replica of the Statue of Liberty.
The Collective denounces “in France and in the Alpes-Maritimes, people are also working to limit or even take away this right from us. Even today, many blame those who resort to medically assisted abortions.”
Recently, the newly elected deputies have discussed the constitutionalization of this fundamental right in France. In the meantime, the activists of this collective are promoting any action to ensure that this fundamental right remains so.
