This essential ceremony rewards French and international musical artists of the year 2006. This trophy is particularly important for these nominated singers because the public exclusively votes. From November 20 to January 7, 2007, at midnight, internet users can, in fact, vote on the websites [www.nrj.fr](https://www.nrj.fr) and [www.tf1.fr](https://www.tf1.fr). This event will be broadcast live on TF1 at 8:50 PM.

New Master of Ceremonies: It will be Arthur who will replace the showman Anthony Kavanagh. But he will not be alone! He has invited artists from the French comedy scene to his table.
New Category: “DJ of the Year” and the presence of P.DIDDY as the “prestigious patron of the evening”!
Last year, the biggest stars walked the red carpet at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes during the NRJ Music Awards: Johnny Hallyday, Patrick Bruel, James Blunt, Calogero… In 2007, this prestigious ceremony will roll out its red carpet to renowned artists: A UNIQUE evening!
While some artists come to attend this ceremony, others come perhaps to receive their trophy. 14 Categories are presented. The selection of nominees is based on the artists and titles that received the greatest public support throughout the year. Regarding the category “Francophone Song of the Year,” the nominees will be revealed to the public on January 20, 2007, with voting exclusively by SMS throughout the ceremony.
