Sergiu M., a homeless man from Moldova, was admitted to the emergency room of Pasteur 2 hospital on October 17 around 3 AM, following a fight. The man, who appeared to be very intoxicated, requested to file a complaint immediately after his admission to the emergency services.

After filing his complaint, he felt that the care was not arriving quickly enough, as reported by our colleagues from Nice Matin, and he allegedly decided to film the scene. Despite being reprimanded several times by a nurse, he did not stop filming and even became aggressive. He then threatened two nurses with plaster scissors stolen from the hospital.

Sergiu M. was tried yesterday, Wednesday, November 24. The result: he received a six-month prison sentence, five of which are suspended, and is banned from entering the Alpes-Maritimes for three years. He will also have to pay damages to the nurses and return the symbolic euro to the university hospital. He is also obligated to leave French territory.
