The Nice Philharmonic Orchestra is “breaking out of its walls” and regularly offers free concerts in the city.
The Nice Philharmonic Orchestra presents a program dedicated to the Czech composer Antonin Dvorak, under the direction of Frédéric Deloche.
In the first part, discover the Romance for violin and orchestra in F minor (opus 11). The solo part is performed by Robert Waechter, the top soloist of the Nice Philharmonic Orchestra.
In the second part, discover the famous Symphony No. 9 (opus 25), also known as the New World Symphony. This work achieved immense success upon its debut in 1893, at a time when Antonin Dvorak was serving as the director of the National Conservatory in New York.
