So, in these difficult and, let’s admit it, somewhat confusing times where doers grapple with talkers, Christian Estrosi is in his element, taking action.
Faced with the indiscipline of some who are not adhering to the confinement measures, the mayor of Nice has introduced a new reminder system using the widely deployed cameras throughout the city’s streets.
25 installed loudspeakers will broadcast preventive messages thanks to the system coupled with the cameras.
They will be positioned in particularly busy areas: Liberation Square – South Station, Thiers Station, Jean Médecin, Massena Square, Garibaldi Square, PDA at the Centenary level.
These loudspeakers, with a range of 40m, will broadcast (on one, several, or all of them) recorded messages or those spoken directly from the police desk within the Urban Supervision Center.
Repeat, repeat, once again… until it is understood. Then, there will be the stick!
