Bertrand Tremel, author of “OGC Nice 25 Legendary Matches,” held a book signing yesterday at the FNAC in Nice, alongside former and current members of the team.
There was a crowd yesterday evening on the third floor of the FNAC in Nice. Cédric Varrault, Pablito, Jean Philippe Matio, as well as Micka Le Bihan and Fred Gioria were present to inaugurate the release of Bertrand Tremel’s book, author of “OGC Nice 25 Legendary Matches.”
“These 25 selected matches seemed obvious to me,” confides the author. From the great Nice-Marseille derbies in the 1950s to the return to Ligue 1 in 2004, including the famous Monaco-Nice where the Gym came back from a 3-goal deficit to win 3-4 with twenty minutes to go! From the lost League Cup final in 2005 to the joys of the Europa League, the author passionately reveals the history of a club over a century old!
Crunchy anecdotes, newspaper clippings from the time, and vintage photographs add a nostalgic touch to this documentary book. There is no doubt it will appeal to both enthusiasts and beginners alike!
