On the sidelines of the derby against OM, Jean-Pierre Rivère and the investor Chien Lee introduced Nice’s jersey sponsor for the European cup matches.
As the Europa League kicks off next Thursday with a match against Schalke 04, Chien Lee (the main shareholder of the Gym and chairman of the supervisory board) and Jean-Pierre Rivère (president) have formalized a new partnership. All of this is driven by a common ambition: “to develop the OGC Nice brand internationally.”
Ctrip is a travel agency based in Shanghai, operating in the tourism sector. It is a leader on the web and apps, offering trips worldwide, with 1 million hotels listed in all cities.
“They wish to support us, for now only in the Europa League. With OGC Nice, they are developing Chinese tourism on the Côte d’Azur,” stated Jean-Pierre Rivère.
In addition to gaining visibility on the Gym’s jersey, Ctrip plans to set up a program of events leveraging OGC Nice.
