After Walter Benitez and Ishan Sacko, the Gym has announced a third departure in this transfer window, the first in the form of a loan.

Already loaned last season to Lausanne-Sport, a club owned by INEOS, the young midfielder Jean N’Guessan will play in Ligue 2 during the 2022-23 season, in Gard at Nรฎmes Olympique.

โ€‹โ€‹Trained at the Racing Club Abidjan, from which he arrived last year, the 19-year-old Ivorian is considered a future key player for the national team. Even though he couldn’t prevent Lausanne’s relegation to the second division, the box-to-box midfielder showcased very promising performances in his 23 appearances on the opposite side of the Alps.

OGC Nice announced his departure via a statement on Tuesday evening:

“To continue his development, better adapt to European football, and discover French football, he will spend a season in L2 BKT, with the Crocodiles, who finished 9th in the last championship.”
