New recruit for Nice! The French U20 international Allan Saint-Maximin is joining OGC Nice from AS Monaco. He committed to the transfer Monday evening after passing his medical examination.
He brings qualities sought after by the Gym: those of an explosive forward capable of energizing the flanks. Saint-Maximin (20 years old) has carried these promising traits since his debut in Ligue 1 in the 2013-14 season at the age of 16, under the guidance of Christophe Galtier at St Etienne. Later recruited by Monaco in the summer of 2015, he was subsequently loaned to Hannover, where he played 16 matches in the Bundesliga and scored 1 goal.
Last season, the club from the Principality loaned him again, and the native of Chรขtenay-Malabry landed on the Isle of Beauty, at SC Bastia. In Corsica, he completed his first full top-level season (33 appearances, 29 starts, 3 goals).
He will be presented to the press this Tuesday at 1 PM, alongside Wesley Sneijder.
