Arriving in 2019 in the Var plain, the young and powerful central defender, Yannis Nahounou, has secured his first professional contract with the Gym.
At 18 years old, someone who is a key player in the reserve team of the Azureans is about to embark on a new step in his young career. He participated in the two pre-season preparations this current season with the first team, appearing in various friendly matches. Before joining the Nice academy, he went through several clubs in the Paris region: USF Trilport, INF Clairefontaine, and the club of his hometown, CS Meaux.
Nahounou expressed his joy about this new contract and revealed his goals in red and black:
“OGC Nice is my training club, where I started, the first club I loved. I am really pleased to sign my first professional contract here… I hope that I will achieve great things within this club. It’s a dream come true. Even though I still have a lot of work to do, I know that I can achieve something great.”
