This Tuesday, OGC Nice and the University Côte d’Azur renewed their scientific and educational partnership agreement at the Club’s Training and Development Center.
The objective? To promote training for careers in professional football and to encourage research in sports performance. This agreement emphasizes the good relations maintained by the Faculty of Sports Science (STAPS) and OGC Nice for the past 10 years.
This new agreement allows for the continuation of close collaboration between the two entities. The first partnership, signed in 2014, aimed to integrate content related to training for professional football and to support young players in their educational paths, thereby facilitating better professional integration through numerous internships offered by the Club.
The new agreement includes the creation of a performance center and a research section that works hand in hand with the Faculty’s Human Movement Expertise Sports Health Laboratory. The faculty thus contributes to promoting the professional integration of its graduates and ensures they receive consistently evolving training adapted to the needs of sports sector professionals.
It is on these grounds that the President of the University Côte d’Azur, Jean-Marc Gambaudou, the President of the University Nice Sophia Antipolis, Emmanuel Tric, and the President of OGC Nice, Gauthier Ganaye, will soon sign the new agreement.
