As we announced to you this weekend, Evann Guessand will not be playing this season with OGC Nice. He will be playing at Nantes under the management of Antoine Kombouare.
With the departures of NโGuessand, Smith, and Ahoussou, the Gym’s sports management is actively working in this transfer window to loan out its promising players. Among these prospects is the forward who was part of the pro group last year, Evann Guessand. While Christophe Galtier had used the striker several times (25 matches, 1 goal, and 3 assists), the new coach Lucien Favre preferred to have the 21-year-old forward gain experience in this new endeavor.
Although Saint-Etienne, recently relegated to Ligue 2, made an offer, the Franco-Ivorian will remain in the first division. Troyes and Brest also expressed interest in acquiring him, but Guessand decided to join the canaries of FC Nantes for one season.
The team managed by Antoine Kombouare has announced the arrival of the Nice striker on their [website](https://www.fcnantes.com/articles/article2809.php?num=40370):
“FC Nantes and OGC Nice have reached an agreement for the loan โ without a purchase option โ of the striker, Evann Guessand (21 years old), until the end of the 2022-2023 season.”
