For the 16th consecutive year, OGC Nice has donated, as part of the “Enfants sans Douleur” program, a check for €2,000 to 8 local micro-associations working to improve the daily lives of severely ill or disabled children.
Pierre Lees-Melou, the Gym’s midfielder and sponsor of this program since the 2017/2018 season, will be present to hand out the checks and interact with the children.
This amount was raised during the Nice-Monaco match (Saturday, March 7, 2020), where €1 was deducted from each ticket sold, then topped up by the Club and enhanced by an additional €1,000 from the Club des Supporters (CDS). Finally, a new addition this season, €9,600 was contributed by INEOS, which created a fund throughout the season by donating €200 for each goal scored by the Aiglons.
This sum was then distributed among the 8 beneficiary associations of the 2020 edition: Un Avenir pour Malo, Association Enzo 06, Les Aventures de Camille, Un sourire pour Enzo, Action Concrète Maladies Rares 06, Just Did 06, SOS Nolwenn, Lueur d’espoir pour Ayden.
