OGC Nice Handball won 31 to 23 in Nantes this weekend for the sixth day of the championship. Franck Bulleux, the team’s coach, is pleased with a “very strong first half. The progress is increasingly visible. I am very happy.”
Before the 6th day, played on Saturday, Cergy-Pontoise and Nice were vying for the top spot in D2F. Almost identical in points (five wins each) and goal difference (+46). In fact, the team from Île-de-France only surpassed the Niçoises because of a better attack.
After the Niçoises’ victory (23-31) in Nantes, the situation is… exactly the same. Cergy also won by eight goals, thus maintaining their lead in the championship by virtue of a more prolific attack.
On December 3rd, the two teams will face each other at Les Eucalyptus. Will they have been separated by then?
