Partners for several seasons now, OGC Nice and Special Olympics France are joining forces to prepare the team that will represent France at the Special Olympics World Games, the largest global sports movement dedicated to people with intellectual disabilities, to be held in Los Angeles in 2015.

ogcniceolympics.jpg The kickoff of this project will take place on Thursday, February 27 (from 10 AM to 3 PM) during an initial selection day open to all specialized institutions in the region.

This selection day will allow for the formation of the group that will undergo bi-monthly training sessions, supervised by OGC Nice educators, and that will participate in the Summer 2015 World Games in California.

Timothée Kolodziejczak, a sponsor since the start of the partnership, continues his commitment and will obviously be present on this day.

Agenda for the day:

– 10 AM-11:45 AM: Specific and fun workshops (motor skills, technique) and collective training

– 12 PM-1:30 PM: Lunch at the Training Center’s cafeteria

– 1:30 PM-3 PM: Training matches
