OGC Nice: not the moment Toulouse

Latest News

OGC Nice hosts Toulouse tonight at 7 PM at the Allianz Riviera. A duel between two teams with opposite dynamics that should allow Les Aiglons to stay in the race for the podium.

Before losing to Caen this weekend, Nice had collected some good points since the break. Most importantly, Les Aiglons have finally managed to string together wins at home, having dominated Angers and then Lorient on their turf.
As a result, the Côte d’Azur club, currently 4th, hosts a much more struggling Toulouse. The Garonne club is second to last in Ligue 1 and seems less and less capable of responding as the weeks go by.

The only recent satisfaction for Toulouse lies in the return to form of Wissam Ben Yedder. The striker seems to have finally moved past his aborted transfer last summer and knows he must now shine to secure a good exit opportunity next summer. But Nice also sees its key players knocking at the door, and when it comes to Ben Arfa, it’s a different level. The French international has scored 3 times in the last 3 games and continues to make genius plays.

Logically, Nice has every chance to come out on top. But since the start of the season, the Niçois have shown much more desire and efficiency in challenging matches. To reclaim a spot on the podium, it’s up to them to perform well with the favorites’ label hanging over their shoulders.
