A new season means new jerseys. These were officially unveiled at the Gym’s official store. And for the occasion, a distinguished guest made his return to Place Masséna…

“He doesn’t come back until July 1st…” The tone was set. OGC Nice had invited its supporters to the unveiling of the new jerseys for the upcoming season. A season marked by the return to European competition after a fantastic season finishing in fourth place in the championship.

The first surprise upon arriving at Place Masséna came from a distinguished guest: Apollo, “gone for 5 minutes to get his subscription”, returned to his place wearing a giant Gym jersey. A clever move by the club, with a successful effect: tourists flocked to the square to capture the moment.

Inside the store, customers discovered the new-look Gym jerseys, the first signed by Macron, as well as the first products from the new collection, including tracksuits, bags, training jerseys, and even balls.

The president of OGC Nice, Jean-Pierre Rivère, and the CEO of Macron, Gianluca Pavanello, then held a press conference to present the new partnership between the Gym and the Italian kit supplier. “Macron has demonstrated real expertise,” stated the president of OGC Nice. “France and Italy are close. We’ve combined Italian class with the tradition of Nice.”

And the result is successful. Many details are visible on the sleeves, the collar, and the finishing. Macron also restores the club’s emblem (embossed rather than printed) to its traditional place on the left side of the chest of the jersey. The home version features white sleeve accents and a white collar, while the away jersey has the same details in black.

“We want to make our own jerseys,” emphasized Jean-Pierre Rivère. “But we had technical obstacles. Our jerseys have a lot of style; there is real attention to detail.” Gianluca Pavanello, the CEO of Macron, also added a few words: “Every club with us has its own collection. The jerseys of OGC Nice are unique.”

And Jean-Pierre Rivère clarified: “We’ll be playing with these jerseys in the Europa League, there won’t be a special European jersey.” Gianluca Pavanello added that: “The jersey is the same for both supporters and players. There is only one version, which is of very good quality.”

“Macron is based in Italy but has a European dimension,” concluded the CEO of Macron. “We are proud to be partners with Nice.”
