OGC Nice logically qualified for the round of 32 of the Coupe de France by defeating Marck (2-0) on Saturday evening.
The goals were scored by Monzon (51st minute) from a penalty and by Gonçalves (93rd minute), perfectly assisted by Abriel. Despite a difficult start and a challenging first 15 minutes, René Marsiglia’s men played a solid match and avoided the Marck trap.
The Aiglons now have to wait until tomorrow evening to find out their next opponent in the competition. For AS Marck, the surprise club from CFA 2, the adventure and dream come to an end.
